 represents the Academy of Persian Language and Literature (APLL) in Infoterm, has worked as terminologist and consultant to several terminology committees and conducted several projects over twenty years. She graduated in Translation Studies/Transcultural Communication (PhD) from the University of Vienna and specialized in Terminology and Language Planning. Besides, she studied Teaching Persian as Foreign/Second Language and has taught Persian language and culture in Tehran and Australia. Ms Akbari is permanent member of the Iranian Society of Intercultural Philosophy and recently became Persian Language Director at Kamusi.
